In November 2014 Māori Women s Development Inc MWDI participated in a KIWA SLAM project in Kaikohe, Northland, New Zealand. Native Horsemanship: Native Horsemanship wants to share the knowledge and art of horsemanship with you. We run clinics to help teach you how to be safe, gain the respect of your horse and get the results you re looking for. With the Native Horsemanship approach we can train any horse in six weeks from basics, to bells and whistles. Māori Women s Development Inc (MWDI) is a development and lending corporation for Māori in Aotearoa. MWDI was formed in 1987 to meet the business, employment and financial demands of Māori. We offer affordable funding assisting Māori women and their whānau who are seeking to setup and/or expand their businesses. Each of the participants chosen for the Kiwa Slam programme, were selected after completing Maibiz (an aspirational 3-day business programme).
